Never seen a candle snuffer like that before, petey could be on to something!

Mark it solved & give the reward to petey!
Looked like it was made up-side down for a snuffer(maybe for below the equator)LOL(before somebody thinks I'm serious). We get rewards now? Pewter, tin, lead? Guess it would have to come C.O.D. eh?

Interesting post superharley!
Hems, how did you end up on this thread? Thought you went to bed. I need to but having fun with inky. CW is actually bringing my Eng. back, or my Alabamese. Do you think that "Rosette Stone" course might help?
You guys turn out the lights when you're done I'm off to bed, night all!
A-m-e-n-d! Even god took a day off!
Lol you guys :) I think it's actually upside down in the photo - the little bobbles sticking up are it's feet? It's a candle wick trimmer, I think that's already been said - keeping the wick trimmed reduces the flame height on your candle and so they burn slower, saving on wax. The silver marks are hard to make out, did anybody find them for you?
Still no info on the markings
