This mask is made of thick plastic - almost like bakelite? I think it's a vintage 1920s flapper girl. You can see where there was a feather at one point, but it's fallen off. i'm looking for a pheasant or peacock feather to glue back on it.

Hi! It looks kind of like a ceramic mask? I have one from San Francisco Clay Arts Studio, (it is posted and has a feather) and is art deco and they went out of business in the 60's I think. Other companies made these also. I like it!!
thanks toracat. i'm pretty sure that this is made out of bakelite. anyone know how i can test it?
