SOMETIMES, ONE BUYS A PIECE SIMPLY BECAUSE OF THE TWO OF A KIND NOAH SYNDROME, FROM WHICH I SUFFER TO AN EXTREME DEGREE.
PIC. 1: 8" HIGH, WITH GIRDLE AND HANDLES IN OPAQUE ORANGE., FINISHED RIM, BUT NO PONTIL.
PIC. 2: THE VASE UNDER UV: VASELINE GLASS.
PIC. 3: AND THEN I FIND THIS 4" VASE. SAME GLASS, CLEAR HANDLES, UNFINISHED RIM, BUT WITH AN IMPORTANT DIFFERENCE.
PIC. 4: THE DIFFERENCE! I MUST STRESS THAT THIS DIME MARK IS ON A KRALIK PIECE. IT IS AN EXPORTER'S MARK, WHICH MEANS THAT IT MAY APPEAR IN GLASS FROM OTHER COMPANIES, AND IN CERAMICS AS WELL.

Hello, Love the shape of this, I have briefly looked at some of your post and can tell you have great knowledge of loetz and bohemian glass. Wondered if you would mind taking a look at one or two of my unknown vases and give me your opinion of the maker. Any help would be greatly appreciated...Love the collection you have....Marvelous!

HI: I've never known the dime mark to be on glass. it is very common on pottery, especially cheaper stuff, but also including the bird which I collect. Good to know. Dave
