What is it about the ring that makes you think it's from the 20s? The textured surface, two-color metal, and the way the "diamonds" are set among other things, lead me to believe it's of a much later period. Did you have the metal and the stones tested?

well i do believe it is older it iwas grandmas so i do not know how to date it do you know the makers mark???
yes all have been tested to be real. the diamonds are of good quality,
      wonder what it is worth??

Sorry, don't know that mark, but it's a beautiful ring.

Remember, your grandmother was not prevented from acquiring things later in life, just because it was hers doesn't mean that she got it when she was a child. Its much later than the 1920's. The maker really doesn't matter, what matters is that its a gold, diamond, and emerald ring.
