As it is the Christmas season, thought it was time to share my grandfather's x-mas lights.
These lights still work. I use to hang them around the kitchen window (over the sink). I have two sets. They are in great shape. Second picture shows how the red bead was used to hold the light in place on the tree. Does anyone know what year they are from?

Very Nice is it a 7 light string of 15? i have an identicle 15 light string i just posted today
these are from the late 1930's up until about 1940, all production of christmas lights ended at the onset of ww2 and then after the war new sets had rubber wires, i think the c7 bulb came out about 1934
