This is another piece of vintage costume jewelry that I first started my collection with. I rarely wear brooches, but this was really beautiful. It was missing a single jet rhinestone when I got it, but I was lucky enough to find a proper replacement. This brooch is very dimensional and it has a drop at the end. I have seen the same motif used on Florenza pieces, but the centerpiece and stones used are varied. This piece is marked '9680' at the back, and Sphinx jewelry are usually marked with numbers like these.
