Playing card with a twist (1920s). When viewed against a flame or a lamp, it reveals its forbidden secret. From a naif era when you needed to sharpen your wit to avoid censorship.

Some of the 20's etc. erotica is amazing. I was watching a W.C. Fields film 25-30 yrs ago that showed a long line of girls marching along alongside a pool, spreading their legs over the water. It was like the pics you see sometimes where perceiving 1 way it was innocent, but looking at it another way, you clearly saw the pubic triangle. Tried to point it out to a friend but it was a short shot. I've always remembered that as a lesson in how innovative photographers were in the early days. Wish I knew what movie that was as it was true artistry how it was done & I doubt that 1% of the people who saw it, caught it. It wouldn't be legal by today's standards.
