Years ago, a friend gave this to me. I don't know much about the art piece but I think the artist is Kitagawa Utamaro. It looks like women playing musical instruments. Size: 2.5 inch X 3.75 inch. I assume it is a tiny print of a woodblock but not sure because I can see the colored ink bled through the paper. Any feedback? Thanks!

Signed Kitagawa Utamaro. Can not tell from photo if original or page out of book cut down that some asian art expert put in a frame. Can not count the times I opened up a frame and found a page out of a history book. Size suggests the 52 deck poker cards which I have also found cut down and framed. I just added two additional photos of the piece. Maybe that will help. I think you're right-- The dimensions are small so it is most likely a book page or similar.
