Royal Doulton Vase. I have no idea of date, or when it was purchased. Found in a box of my parents possessions, looks great when the light shines on it, almost golden.

They call these ware Slater's Patent as indicated with the impressed mark. It was a technique that used lace on the wet clay to create the base for the decorators to gild and decorate.

Thanks for the love and comment BELLIN68, very much appreciated. I also love it. I just wonder what else I will discover as I go through boxes that belonged to my parents!

its between 1902 and 1911. I have a few myself. What country are they in? Just interested to see their reach.
