I picked this up at the same thrift store for 6$ as the perfume bottle. Marked Alpacca at the bottom, I shined it up with some Silvo, it seemed to work pretty well. Is there a company called Alpacca that produced these? There are also some engraved numbers along the side of the handle that I didn't take picture of- figured they were stock numbers or something. Not in terrible shape, the mirror damage just makes it look more vintage, and it almost frames it, there is still a significant amount of mirror to reflect a face.

Alpacca Silver (Alpaca) refers to an alloy that imitates sterling silver. This non-precious bright silvery-grey metal alloy is made up of copper, zinc, and nickel and sometimes iron. Alpacca Silver does NOT contain any real silver; it is just another name for Nickel Silver. In Germany & Austria and also in Middle and Eastern Europe the term used for this alloy is Alpacca Silver rather than Nickel Silver.
That's just about the only thing I do know about Alpacca. Do you know if it's a company or just material type? Or how long it's been used for? Thanks mustangtony : )
