I found these two Republican National Convention ribbons to be quite interesting in comparison to the plastic ID badges being used now. The first ribbon was for the 1924 convention held in Cleveland, OH and it was issued to a telephone operator. The second ribbon for a Telegraph operator at the 1912 convention in Chicago, Ill.
