i love it, but i think it might be from the 40s thru 50s-60s, and made to look pre-colombian. maybe i'm wrong, but regardless it's really cute!

It's Maricopa pottery, from southern Arizona, near Phoenix. This style has been made during three time periods: ca. 1890-1905, 1937-1940, and the early 1970's.
Pottery making at Maricopa died out in the early 1900's, was started up again in 1937 (the "first revival" which lasted only a few years) and then was started again in the "second revival" of the 1970's.
Good references are "Dirt for Making Things," by Janet Stoeppelmann, and "Southwestern Pottery" by Allan Hayes and John Blom.
