This was the home of a relative who met my Uncle who lived not far away . Her parents have interesting tale and as I now find out he is one that built the other post of log cabin farm . It looked like it said Iowa but it is WI . It says Town :-) This house was made of stones .
When first coming here in 1890 farmed in partnership with his brothers,
dissolving the partnership two years later. First farming 53 acres, a few
years later buying another 40 acres. He built a log house and two small log
barns. Built a large frame barn in 1921, and a new house in 1939. He
farmed until 1947 when his son purchased the farm.

Thank you Phil :-) I wish photo would have shown more of building . Not sure when this photo was taken since it looks vacant at time of photo . One living relative from this side of family that remembers the house and corrected me on the photo of the log buildings since she grew up in that house and it is in Wi also

Love the fact you know your family history.
Thank you petey . I was lucky are family kept history and was passed down from generation to generation and all the photo's ect were also marked . I am the caretaker of many of them and will pass them on to another generation one day.
