i have very little info on this item. the neon is about 28"x"8 large metal box attached to the back. upper left hand on top of the sign is a serial or tag number of 11430 ..if anyone knows anything please help ! no idea of value or age .

Generally, these signs are from the late 30's right around the end of Prohibition. The tag however may date it to as late as Nov. 43. The A and Eagle shield has the stars and stripes - later signs just have lines through the shield. Price is subject to what someone wants to pay for it. They are not as rare as you think because A-B made a lot of them - how many survived is a different story. Good luck - I hope you decide to keep it - it's a great piece of A-B history
