The story is better than the item here. Many people may now be familiar with Seaside Heights, NJ now. It was devastated by Hurricane Sandy and all over the news....
The first day I ever used my metal detector I took it out behind my house at Seaside Park. There is a little strip of sand between the houses. I found this within the first 10 minutes of my metal detecting career (which is quite short anyway). I was surprised to find out, that you do not find things like this on every outing.
After some debating I brought it to a jeweler. Using a diamond tester he told me it was not in fact a diamond. But....at least I have the story! It is marked 925 and 7 NV . Does anyone know anything about jewelry!! :)
Thanks!

Great story! I laughed out loud.
925 is sterling.
Setting is very modern, as in new
I would guess the lady in question threw it at someone's head when she found out it wasn't a diamond. : )
So funny! Still a nice ring to wear and what a story!
AmberRose...so true I thought the same exact thing! She either threw it at him or "lost" it. Thanks for the comment Newtimes!
