I recently found this wonderful African bracelet about 1.5" wide and 3" opening - larger than my 6.5" wrist. It is very beautiful. The seller didn't know anything - Does anyone know which tribe made it and when? Someone wore it because the leather lining is worn showing fabric underneath and some of the bead strands have come loose.
I checked my source "The history of beads" by Dubin - and closest example of this is a necklace attributed to Zulu or Masaai? I couldn't find a comparable bracelet on the internet so any help is appreciated.
