I have a tree stand like the one pictured above. It belonged to my grandparents, then my parents. I want to know how old it is.
The box label says that it was made by "United States Electirc Mfg. Corp."
I have see two types for sale on ebay. One is a one piece construction, likely older than this type with the cylinder that hold the tree being a separate steel "can." Mine looks like this one.
