This piece was another one of my rescues ,it was about to be tossed out by one of my friend's mother , because she never liked it ,so I said well I love it ! She was more than happy for me to take it home. I think this vase is beautiful and it would have been a shame to just toss it out! It looks like lovely wrapping paper ! Has anyone ever seen this style before and would know who made it?

this style vases are called "handkerchief vases", I can not help on who made it but it looks fairly new to me.
Thank You MacArt! How new is fairly new, I've had it for 10 years and my friends mom had it for several years before that, it does have a mark of some kind that looks like a square and some initials l, o, and the other letters are kind of scratched but one might be a( y )or a(g or j ) on the bottom ,I can't quite make them out clear enough ,tried to photo them but the iridescent and glare gets in the way.
