THESE ARE MY WEEKEND FIND. I WOOD THINK THE WOODEN MALLET WAS FOR BARREL STAVES AND WOODEN SPOKES? OVERALL IT IS 14 INCHES LONG BY 3 INCHES ACROSS THE FACE OF THE MALLET HEAD.THE MACHINIST HAMMER IS MARKED AND DATED 1944 BY THE ORIGINAL OWNER. THE HANDLE IS HOLLOW AND THE END CAP SCREWS OFF FOR ACCESS. IN VERY GOOD CONDITION FOR BEING ALMOST 70 YEARS OLD.
