Here is the marbled pattern from Welz 1920-30 the surface seems hand swirled and I have seen some beautiful pieces in this category...the problem is I have no pictures of them. I should add a small distinction between the tornado pattern and the marbled pattern is that while the tornado spins around the piece...this marbled pattern goes up and down like a wave. The few characteristics of Welz satin flashed pieces are:
2-when spun in your hand makes a sea-like sound
3- distinctive foot on #1 and #3
4-Casing glass are white, black, rellow, lime green, sea foam and coral
5- fan shapes have no pontil and no ground rim (how were they made?)
