These earrings are for the sweetheart or mother of someone serving in the US Army Air Corps. The wing and propeller insignia is the branch insignia for the branch.
The earrings were made for unpierced ears, which was more prevalent during that era.
Each is sterling marked and in excellent condition.
An interesting "Home Front" item for the World War II collector.
