Very realistic and detailed picture of two pheasants. Even the nail and cord are out of feathers. This has been in my family since the 1950's and is 36" high by about 24" wide. It came from somewhere in Boston and I believe was in a museum at one time. I would like to know anything else about it that anyone may know. The only feather paintings I have seen discussed are from Mexico and South America - which this is not.
I think this may have been from the 1800's, but really don't know. It is behind glass and appears to be mounted on stained plywood.
