Kerry 10456 has recently posted the entire pre-war USA series of Mickey Mouse wristwatches, to include a few extremely rare examples. Here are a couple more made for the English market in 1934 & 1936 respectively.

The one on the left (sadly with a missing minute hand and the original band) is nicknamed 'Baloon Trousers Mickey' and the one on the right is nicknamed 'Bearded Mickey'. Both are by Ingersoll with 'FOREIGN' written below 6 O'clock on the dial.

There are also pocket watch versions of these watches.

Were these sold in the US market?

Steller, thank you for the 'Love' click. Theses watches were sold in England and not available to the USA market.

Thanks steller for the appreciation and comments. Theses watches are quite rare nowadays, even in England, as they were quite expensive back in the 30's for a child's watch. Not many were sold and survived.

George, is that an "English" box? If so, is it white labeled or black?
  12. geo26e geo26e, 5 months ago
Kerry, should be English. Says 'Reproduced With The Consent Of Walter E. Disney' on the front (white) & on the underside of the lid (black). I can e mail a picture to you.

It's The English then, was just wondering if it was the First issue with the Black outside label, but sounds like the second version. Still the box looks to be in good shape, The reason I asked, I'm looking for a black label for my 34 English

The 1st Issue 'Black Box' is probably rarer than the watch itself ! LOL

Yep, LOL. I'll probably still be looking for years to come. I've got a white label for the 36, but you know how it goes, always wanting something else. :-)
