With the massive influx of conversation about Ruckl in the last couple days I thought I'd share a few pics of the factory from this spring. Sadly there was no antique glass on display. just modern (which was really a yawn for me) The buildings were rather interesting though. I took a walk thru the grounds while everyone else was doing the glass making tour. It's definitely not a place you want to run barefoot. years of broken glass and the toxic chemical warning signs were EVERYWHERE.

I would have loved to have walked around the grounds also, I love old buildings and also hoping to find an uncovered treasure that everyone else had missed.. always dreaming!....:-)

I somtimes imagine going back 100 years and walking into the L.C.Tiffany or Quezal workshops and then the display room and picking up a few pieces for under $100. DREAM ON.
