Again, this is a reference posting for "Ollie". This is a 1939 Donald Duck Pocket Watch, pretty nice example, just missing the second hand and paper dial is a little discolored.

Kerry, do they all have a running Mickey Mouse sticker on the back cover or some do not?
George,They all are supposed to have the sticker, same has the lapel Mickey, same back cover.

Thank you very much Phil, very appreciated!!
Kerry, I was talking to a watch dealer in London and he said some of the Donald watches came with a plain case back (factory ran out of stickers!). The ones with the Mickey sticker are of course the rarer ones. Whats your opinion on this?
Kerry, another dealer in USA says the 1st version has plain case back and later version has sticker! I am confused!!

DISNEY MANUFACTURED TWO VERSIONS OF THIS POCKET WATCH. ONE VERSION WAS A PLAIN CHROMED BACK AND THE OTHER HAD A MICKEY MOUSE DECAL ATTACHED TO THE SAME. THE VERSION AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE DOES HAS THE DECAL ATTACHED. THE DECAL IS NEAR COMPLETE(SCARCE).
THIS DECALED VERSION OF THE DONALD DUCK POCKET WATCH IS MUCH SCARCER THAN THE PLAIN BACKED VERSION. THE DECAL WAS ADDED AT THE END OF THE MARKETING CAMPAIGN WITH THE HOPES OF INCREASING SLUGGISH SALES.
