These photos are from the Atlantic Service Station then (approx 1937) and now. This business was/is very close to where I grew up and still live. I have no idea what the station is used for now; I rarely see anyone there, but it still exists all these years later. It looks like I took the post recent photos on a similarly rainy day; and it is evident the lot has never been paved! I wonder what kind of stories could be told of the days gone by at this filling station.

I wonder if the Atlantic sign is under the shingles?? Probably not... but...hmm
Thanks to EJW-54, Manikin and stonesfan1 !
It looks like there is a sign with printed words on it, on the brown building. Do you know if it pertains to the history of this beauty ? ~Phil.
Thanks for the interest PhilDavidAlexanderMorris; I wish I could see what that sign reads! There are no reminants of the sign on the building now.
