This unique vase has brought me much joy and much chagrin within the last couple of days. I bought this piece knowing there was no mark or label, happy to add it to my personal collection as I have came across several 'controlled bubble" glass items lately and am fascinated with the process and beautiful results. When I started removing the price label from the thrift store, I was pleasantly surprised and excited to find a metallic label underneath, then I saw the word Murano and could not believe my good fortune :)...I was ecstatic to say the least, then I saw the word Mexico and was confused....Upon researching the label, I learned that this piece was indeed made in Mexico and the glass manufacturer added Murano to the label for good measure, kind of like riding on someone's coat tail, lol. I still love it though...and love the color and how the bubbles are perfectly placed and spiral around only around on the inside of the base, close to the outside.
