I doubt if this pen is worth much if anything because of the condition but I am curious to know the maker if any one recognizes it. It is 4 1/4 inches long. I imagine the diamond shaped openings on the band would be the tell. Do old fountain pens have a nib of solid gold or are they just plated generally. This one reads Warranted 14Kt 4. It looks gold but appears to have a silver metal end. Thanks in advance for any information.
