I got this from the Goodwill for $6.95, I am crazy as I have too many lamps! It is pretty big says 2 quarts on bottom, nice cork under lid and strainer holes inside pot. I took apart to read hallmark on bottom, 85% of it remains, also the black base is pretty nice, it is not magnetic, which surprised me, It is Homan They started business in 1847, and in 1913 started using silver over German nickel silver, very strong and well made, if I wanted to use I would have to plug the holes! I only drink red wine, so maybe leave it a lamp! Tomorrow I will polish it up! What kind of shade would look good???? Thanks for looking!! OH the mystery is what to use or what style shade for this?? Thanks again for looking!
