I have no idea what these were made for, unless for tourist? I do not know who made them, where they were made, or anything about them. I got at the Goodwill, both for $3.00. Sun Tzu's Art of War, a small book, used by all Armies of the world for couple thousand of years, I believe, This is in Eng. and Chinese, what is interesting, if it was done by Chinese, they always spell Eng. words wrong, or usually do. I read on internet they dug up copies, on bamboo, see next from wikipedia----
Inscribed bamboo slips of The Art of War, unearthed in Yinque Mountain, Linyi, Shandong in 1972, dated back to the 2nd century BC. Probably these are made for tourist or military training? I was in the Army, they love charts and pointing at maps and things, haha they are well made and written, nice colors! Even talks about spies! please anyone let me know what you think!

You are right about them mis-spelling Eng. words usually. Actually very often. Think along those lines.
Yes there are some long and difficult Eng. words on these like incendiary, configurations, etc. I misspell all the time also! I do not know if tourist are into these type things?
