Flange glass tumbler or bottle. It has an interesting and rather strange straining or separating scalloped rim inside the cup. It's in perfect condition. On the bottom, it is marked with "Pat Apd For" so I know it had a unique purpose. vscience@yahoo.com

Thanks for the feedback but I just figured out what the glass tumber is all about. It is a very rare glass tumber. It is a 1901 Perfection Flange Tumbler made by the Precision Mfg Co, Washington, PA. Perfection Mfg Co also made water bottles, decanters, and cruets that were put together by means of a metal ring connecting the glass part which came apart for easier cleaning. In an era where sanitation was becoming a near obsession, this was a godsend. These tumblers also come in an imitation cut pattern, I passed by some of those years ago in the basement of a junk shop. In the early 1900s Butler Brothers offered items made by this company.
