This Reunion took place at my Grandemothers Home when I was still a Baby ! Not sure of the year, but I think in the Early Fifties. They are my cousins, aunts and uncles and ???? Notice the Shy, Barefoot Girl in the back left of the Photo.

Your welcome I love these old photo's :-) Wonder what girl in back alone is thinking ? and why not in group . If only the photo's could talk .
If I can find out who she is, I would love to ask her. She looks very shy to me.
Thank You Sandpiper !! Merry Christmas to all Three of you (:-) !!
Thank You ttomtucker !!
Thank You kerry10456 !!
I don't think she looks shy. To me she looks angry that's she not invited or angry and doesn't want to be in the picture. Nice photo.
I think the word is defiant!
Love it!
I had to look up the meaning of that word, but you're right. She's ready for battle and not shy or anything. ''Bring it on".
Love it too.
She really brings a story to the picture, another dimention. Or is my imagination running wild?
I think You are Both Right !! Defiance runs in my Family! (:-) Thank You Both !!
You're welcome. Thanks for the share.
She is the whole story!
A story within the story.
Thank You bratjdd !
Ok, so I'm going to come in and throw cold water on the party.. (but only a little bit). I don't believe this photo was taken in the 1950s. It's much older. Probably the 30s or early '40s. It's always hard to pinpoint exactly, since people wore hairstyles long after they became outdated, and clothing, especially during the Depression, was often handed down. But the bowl cuts on the hair of the moppets, and the clothing and hair styles of the adults, not to mention the actual photo itself, makes me think it's most likely from the 1930s. But carry on about the defiant girl, I always love to speculate about the people in the photos!
Thank You bratjdd !! You could be right about the date. I will check with my older relatives and see if I can get a date on the photo for sure and I will post it so you can see. I will see if I can locate someone who can name the Defiant girl in the background also!! Thanks again !!
Thank You Phil !!
Thank You inky !!
