Another Dollar Watch
Ingersoll Cord Watch
This is a ladies, 0-size, 4-jewel watch, with a circular broach type pin that attaches to her garment. The broach contains a retractable chain so she can easily pull the watch out to a distance up to 11-1/4 inches, so it can be easily read.
The broach, bezel & back of watch case is a cream color enamel finish.
Movement is marked:
PATENTED NOV. 14. 22 JULY 2. 18
MADE IN U.S.A.
Serial No. F203949 (Ingersoll jeweled watches cannot be dated by the serial number).
The back of the broach pin is marked:
KETCHAM & McDOUGALL
EAST ORANGE, N.J.
MADE IN U.S.A.
The clasp under the pin is marked: KETCHALL
The watch case is 1.25 inches across.
The circular broach is 0.98 of an inch across
They also made one of these with a seconds dial at the 3:00 position and was advertised as a Nurse's Watch.
