My Wife's dad he was in Germany 1954
They sure were, your wife's father was with the 29th Signal Battalion (Clear and Open) which was located in Coleman Barracks, Sandhofen, Germany during the mid fifties. The 29th is now located at Fort Lewis, Washington. The second photo is a DUI for the 317 Signal Construction Battalion (Beware The Web) was located in Pirmasens, Germany

Nice item. My truck always seemed to break down going over the mountain headed back to Pirmasens. After De Gaulle kicked us out of France we took everything with us. We loaded semi's with toilets that all got broken going back to Germany. The trucks always seemed to break down outside a little bar right before the border. I think the memories might not fit in here.
