Here's some of my orange and brown bakelite, celluloid and lucite collected over the years. Love these rich colors. The postcard from my great uncle sent from California to his dad in Iowa on his honeymoon 1923 - Priceless! And it has an orange on it.
The 2nd picture shows my handmade bracelets from stash of buttons and bakelite pieces.
The last picture - I think - features my earliest pieces of celluloid. I can't believe how modern the 3 top bracelets look - "digital". If anyone has any info on these celluloid items I would appreciate your help. All I know comes from my mentor Dennis late 70's - he gave me the red/grn striped one and taught me what to look for. I rarely see these lightweight bracelets. I'm not sure why - they are very strong and very comfortable to wear since they're light. Noted a similar to the gold for over $100 on ebay - but that can't be right either? Prices are all over the place. My research books don't feature these and maybe because they were cheap dimestore?
I would also like any information about the orange lucite spiral earrings. They are so cool - I think they must be 1950's?

I just saw a listing for 2 similar bracelets (pic 3) w/asking price over $100 because they are "rare". They aren't delicate or brittle like celluloid and they look brand new - no scratches.
