This is an advertisement for fertilizer (Natural Chilean Soda)
Do you know how old it is and what company and it he gets a kick out of it thanks
Uncle Natchell (along with his sidekick, Sonny Boy) was the cartoon mascot for a fertilizer product called Natural Chilean Nitrate of Soda. Many of the advertisements for this product were in comic strip or story form. -- The sign looks to be from the 40's or 50's but the earliest I could find mention of the character Uncle Natchel was 1934
Thank you I have not seen any of there around my friend is ticked pink thank you He must have something very rare.
Cool sign, from around the 40's. I believe this was originally a green color, but color has rubbed off due to poor keep. In good condition this double sided sign might be worth between $100-$200. It's not that rare, but being black art it is highly collectible! Nice sign.
