I didn’t count on getting another Ausf 237 since I was lucky enough to get the “big one” (12.5”) earlier this year but I couldn’t pass this one up. It is not as big, standing 4 1/4” high but equally as nice. I guess one isn't always enough.

stunning and very beautiful:)
Very nice! I had a couple in the same shape here

Yours is much nicer though imo.
Great shape. I love this decor when its done right like these two examples
So beautiful! What a difference compared to the usual ''end of day'' shades and vases I have seen. These are a world away from the type I have. I love the way the colours dance around the surface rather than just sit there like blobs. Thank you for sharing your recent find.
Sincerely,
Lisa
Stunning Mac63!...:-)
I still need to get one of these!
Me too, GSO - and I've been looking! They are so expensive, generally, in Europe. But if I could find a little one - just a little one ...
They are gorgeous Mac- especially the baby.
If I could just get a proper job I'd be a lot more competitive. :) Mac would have had a fight for the big one.
Thanks all for your comments.
As for the other piece - I am still sitting on the fence about it.
We are talking about buying a damaged piece of glass.
I normally wouldn't buy damaged pieces but I am thinking of making an exception only because I think this particular piece is beautiful. Its not rare nor would I ever get my money back if I were to sell it. The bottom line for the seller is 100.00.
I would love to hear peoples thoughts on buying damaged pieces.
Your right Craig - I know I would regret buying the damaged piece. To your other point on patience - what's the old saying... "patience is a passion tamed"
I also think you should pass on the damaged one. Especially since you already have 2 amazing examples. I would put the money towards buying something you don't already have. Just my opinion.
Not to be rude, but do you mind me asking what you paid for the new piece? I sold mine for 489+shipping so I am just curious what this one went for as it is the same shape. I only sold mine hoping someday to find one as well done as yours.
I paid 130.00 for it.
Thanks Mac. That's an amazing deal!
