This was mailed to my great grandmother on my mother's side by the Minneapolis Star Journal and Tribune. It is a list of American Soldiers from Minnesota that failed to return home from action in WWII. Thankfully, none of my relatives on that side of my family were listed. Which leads me to question why it was mailed to her, because both of her sons were home by this date. Another note, and I am not sure why it hadn't dawned on me until now to check, but there is a relative on my father's side listed. My great uncle bob, who I have posted a picture of on here, is listed. Robert E. Carrier S Sgt - KIA. Rest In Peace gentlemen, your service is not forgotten!
