The Rifle case is 42 inches long the Buffalo hide fringe hangs down 50 inches, almost immaculate condition. If you look closely you will see it was designed to encase a lever-action rifle.. My expert in Guns says most probably a Winchester 1876 .45-75 caliber.

Wow Wow WOW is that sure nice! So beautiful and just think about the hours it took the artist to do all the beadwork. I am sooooo jealous of you right now :)
it probably for a henry rifle and its CROW
With split tongues your mocs you posted earlier are likely SIOUX ....however the beaded design going up the back heel seam in the opposite direction and the two colors of pinked trade cloth on the cuffs is a shoshone/bannock /plateau trait perhaps they could be Northern arapaho .....hummm a mystery???if could see how they were constricted i might be able to better which tribe made them
I have a rifle case in my collection that was probably made by the same lady, it has very similar designs ,it was collected as crow
