TAYLOR BAROGUIDE - DATES 1940
found this as well at the thrift store tonight . this dates to 1940 , this art deco era , the reason why i was so drawn to this is because it is art deco and secondly it has some what a little bit of Memphis art look to it as well . VERY AWESOME PIECE.The base is bakelite and i believe the top part is as well:)

I would love to find all the barometer pieces like the ones you have. When I was in germany as a kid EVERYONE there had some sort of one in their homes...Just love the older style ones. Todays are too modern in look for me...But this is perfection in my world! Nice job!
