Here is a rare loetz tango compote I just got in. It is rather large at 6x8".
I love the colors, but couldn't get the blue quite right. Its pretty close though.
The piece was sold as not damaged, but sure looks to have a small chip to me. Could someone please verify that this is(or isn't) damage and not from when the "foot" was ground.

From the photos it looks more like an air bubble embedded in the glass. It may or may not have been exposed during the grinding, although from the photo it looks to be closed. To me this would be a manufacturing defect, and quite expected from old glass. But you need to have it in hand to know for sure.

I got my jewelers loop back and looking under it, its definitely a chip. Oh well, very minor at least, so I'm happy with it.
