Found this all folded up in a drawer in the shed, has some fly damage.
Considering where it has been stored for decades it's in very good condition.
Wouldn't mind owning the house & barn depicted!

The house looks like one of the Eatons houses they sold with plans. All the lumber was cut up for the house and you could order a number of different plans with the materials. I have several of these books - on the Eaton houses.
During the 1910s and 1920s, customers could order their homes from mail-order catalogues. The house type was selected from free Plan Books. Then blueprints could be ordered for a nominal fee. From the blueprints, house materials were ordered and shipped by rail. Eaton's was just one of several companies active in selling houses through mail order in the 1910s and 1920s. Sears Roebuck was huge in the United States but did not have offices or mills in Canada. Other companies active in Western Canada included B.C. Mills Timber and Trading Co. of Vancouver, which shipped prefabricated houses and commercial buildings, mainly banks, from 1904 to about 1911. The United Grain Growers and its precursors were in the mail-order house business from about 1914 to 1926. The University of Saskatchewan and the Manitoba Agricultural College supplied catalogues of house plans but were not in the lumber business. The main competition to Eaton's in the mail-order house business was the Canadian Aladdin Company.
I would definitely recommend the books done by an author in my city. I ordered them from him back in the 90's.
There is lots on the web on this practice. An awful lot of homes in Manitoba and Saskatchewan were mail order houses. Like I said - lots on the web but more than worth the reading if you get the books. I got book one and then had to have book 2.
@walksoftly.....This is a great piece of advertising! Thanks for posting!!!!
@PhilDavidAlexanderMorris....thank you for fleshing out the details behind the structures mentioned on the calendar. Though comprising an important part of Canada's and The USA's history, such home-building programs are being forgotten. Your input is truly appreciated!!!!
stunning :) love this very much:) merry christmas :)
Thanks for the love & all the info Phil, I've heard of & seen some of the Eaton's homes.
Can you imagine getting the call from the station agent that your house & or barn had arrived in "X" number of boxcars.
Everything needed for those buildings, would have been included.

I didn't think the calendar would arrive before the new year, I was a little late sending it.
Perfect a Canadian calendar to replace your Mayan calendar! :-)
