I found this old and rather large Epergne, I like the shape and color and of course, being a picker, I bought it on the cheap.
Its Amberina or Fuschia in color. Blown glass with a large snapped pontil. The glass is semi thick and the interior trumpet horn is permanently affixed. I checked it with a blacklight and there are no signs of glue so I am reasonably sure it was made this way. Also it is a spot on color match. What made me suspicious is there is slight twisted ribbing to the trumpet horn only.
Judging from the wear, I would say this is an older piece rather than newer. I would sure like to hear some comments on who made this or at least what direction to go looking.
