Last Thursday night I left the auction house early but told my friend who was staying the night to buy these 2 lamps for me if they go cheap enough. The next day when he came to pick me up he said, "get your lamps out of my truck" and I said, "how much I owe you", he said. "one dollar for both"
The one on the left was missing the glass but found an extra out in the barn.
The hanging one is in my kitchen and was purchased almost 1 year ago and from my neighbors consignment shop for $20 and is in great condition.
I posted these in response to Mellicsandoval's green lamp post.
Three green lamps is a collection I guess.
These are Tole or Toleware...very nice !

Does the one in my kitchen look like Tole also, or just the same color.

My Grandmother had both of those floor lamps in her living room years and years ago (black with gold accents). Seeing them triggered some very pleasant memories.

I have the floor lamp and the table lamp..They both need to be restored but I love them. I finally know what type of lamps thry are. They are the green Tole Lamps which I found more than fifteen years ago in an alley ,that someone had set out for the trash. I saw them and. fell in lovewith them. Now all I have to do is to find someone to restore them to there natural beauty.
I need the glass globe for both and the picket fence looking round top decoration that's around the globe. My daughters threw those parts out by mistake when we moved some while back. It's for the Tole table lamp and floor lamp. The only difference between mine and the ones featured in the color green is that mine have some brass finishing at the base of each lamp.
