I paid $2 for the small portable Sun dwell-meter over the weekend. I picked the giant one for free. It has all the books and a buck-rogers looking timing light. It is more valuable in scrap but the lower area is a huge nice work-bench and tool storage area. The photo is as I first saw it before brushing off and hauling. The round latches for the doors are really cool and latch better that anything modern but the cool part is the timing light gun uses the same knob to adjust as what closes the doors. Man we usede to build some good, smart stuff! My original plan was to gut the electronics and hinge the panels to open as storage cupboards. It is not built like I thought and it is going to be tough. The big pipe on top was a rotating conduit full of all the wiring for the different diagnostic gizmos...ofcourse some clown had to cut the wire off for the copper.
