Those from Kelton or US Time made in the 1940's would have been in a rectangular non water proof case. Powered by a #20 Ingersol movement inside. The one shown is more like 1954, water proof and powered by an early #21 movement. It would also feature a screw off crown. A feature that would be gone my 1958.
Thank you JerseyMo for your input, I'll check it out a little closer. Have had it awhile and it came with several other pieces, never paid any mind to it.
