Aluminum Coca-Cola Sprite Boy sign 1940's. I bought this several years ago at a collectors show in Hawaii. The lady said that it hung in her husbands parents pool hall for 50 years.
I need more info though. Why is it aluminum? Everything checks out good but again why aluminum?
The sign has the following markings:
Copyright, 1941 - The Coca-Cola Export Corp.
Evans-Glenn CO. Marietta
Trade Mark Reg. under the first C's tail
The Killer Mobile Device for Victorian Women
If These Shirts Could Talk: The Tantalizing Tales Behind Used Clothes
Gloriously Grotesque 19th-Century Pipes
In the Hot Seat: Is Your Antique Windsor a Fake?
Bizarro Beauty Products, from 1889 to Now
Love at First Kite: How Pizza and Pente Led to One Oklahoman's High-Flying Obsession
Pin-Up Queens: Three Female Artists Who Shaped the American Dream Girl
Say Ahhh: An Oral Surgeon's Quest to Reimagine the Garage-Band Guitar

I remember this one in the 50's. Aluminum was probably cheap after the war with all the scrap aircraft.
