Green is my favorite color. So I was very happy when I FINALLY found my first green bakelite bangle. I always seem to find yellow and brown bakelite. Reds and greens are so hard to find for me! I really don't know why.
My absolute favorite is the green stretch bracelet. I bought it a month ago from someone who was convinced it was malachite. Indeed it has the same pattern as the stone, but I knew as soon as I saw it that it was bakelite. And so it is.
The three clear bangles are another favorite of mine.

Hi there - green's my favorite color too! I have a lot of it but not as nice as your stretch bracelet. Very nice collection. I think the clear bracelets might be lucite but I'm not sure. Good photos!
Hi valentino97, I tested the three clear bracelets and they are bakelite for sure.
Thanks vetraio50, mustangtony and valentino97 for loving.
Hi Newtimes, happy New Year. I have never seen clear Bakelite. Is it earlier? Later?
Its later, maybe 40's-45'. If I'm not mistaken they call clear bakelite 'prystal'. In the early days the only colors they had were brown and black.
Can't go wrong with green
