Unknown British WWI steel helmet. Helmet is in great condition and complete. Insignia on the front is unknown to me, anyone got any ideas? At this time of year I can not help thinking about the first WWI truce, at Christmas, when there was an unofficial cease fire, and British and German troops met in no mans land, sang carols and even played football.
