STUNNING AS ALWAYS:) MERRY CHRISTMAS BUDDY:)
Size and pontil condition are always good to know . . . .
Alfredo : added size and pontil. Thanks.
This piece is a good example of the Wait Theory : I have seen a number of this model come up for auction. One was offered in a well known N.J. auction and I almost bid but decided to wait for another. This present one I paid EIGHT times less for than the other one.
BELLIN68 : And a Merry Christmas to you. And Happy New Year.
thankyou LoetzBuddies:)
was the one at the NJ auction presented as rinskopf or loetz? the problem with big auctions especially if there is a misrepresentation is that people who know nothing about the item or the value get caught up in bidding for something they are imagining is worth a trillion zillion bucks. live auctions almost aren't worth my time. (you do get the sleeper now and again)
Greatsnowyowl : Yes, the vase was presented as Rindskopf Art Nouveau vase. And it made $2100.
first time at your posting site -- i may be here a while -- you have some beautiful glassware -- a crows passion for certain
epson233 : nice to have you join in.
